There’s a really good chance you have someone in your life that is always going on about their air fryer and today we’re going to be that person. If you’ve heard of an air fryer but aren’t 100% sure what it is they do, allow us to enlighten you! Air fryers are tiny countertop convection ovens that simulate deep frying food without having to submerge said food into hot oil. You’re probably now wondering how an air fryer works and the process is actually pretty interesting; there is a fan that circulates hot air at a high speed that produces a delightfully crisp layer.
And that’s really all there is to it. So, let’s get to the fun part and talk about our favorite things to cook (Fry? Air fry?) in an air fryer.
Air Fryer Taco Crunchwrap
This is a copycat recipe for the taco crunchwrap we all know and love, but made in the comfort of our own home, and it’s totally customizable so it can be as healthy or as sinful as you like. The best part is these are super easy to make and once they’re assembled, they only take 5 minutes in the air fryer. Get the full recipe here!
Air Fryer Sweet Chili Chicken Wings
We are drooling over these already. These wings are a delicious, sticky, sweet, and just slightly spicy mess of goodness. And the best part is air fryers make your dishes perfectly crisp while keeping the meat juicy and tender. We love to throw these wings together if we’re needing finger foods for a crowd; just don’t forget the napkins! Get the full recipe here.
Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks with Eggroll Wrappers
These cheesy crispy rolls of happiness are nothing short of a crowd-pleaser, but we would also like to throw in that these make an excellent full-course meal as well. (Don’t judge us!) These mozzarella sticks come together super fast and since they’re made with eggroll wrappers, you don’t have to mess with any messy breading. Get the full recipe here!
Air Fryer Mac and Cheese Balls
Air fryer mac and cheese balls are a slightly lighter version of a deep-fried favorite. Something that we love about mac and cheese balls is the fact we get to make our own mac for them, and we love to create a kinda ~spicy~ mac and cheese for these, then work in just a pinch of cayenne to the breadcrumbs, and, of course, dip them in cool ranch. These are great for apps, finger foods for a party, or a good Netflix binge. Get the full recipe here!
