If you wear glasses, then you are very aware of certain obstacles. Take Covid masks, for example, things got steamy, to say the least. Another obstacle we, as people with terrible eyesight face? Trying to wear makeup. But we think after you read our tips, the makeup obstacle will be a thing of the past, and we can all focus on other obstacles; like those steamy face masks and the fact we can’t just go buy cheap sunglasses. Anyway, let’s get started!
Curl. Your. Lashes.

If you have long luxurious eyelashes, start curling those baddies! Long lashes will scratch against your glasses and gorgeous gorgeous curled lashes will make your eyes pop even under specs!
Brush Those Brows Up
Your eyebrows are the frame of your face as well as the frame of your frames. Brush your eyebrows in an upward motion to make sure you can see them over your glasses. You can still opt for your trusty brow pencil or powder to fill in.
Don’t Underestimate the Power of Setting Powder
Setting powder on your nose pads, and anywhere else your glasses touch you, will prevent your foundation from rubbing off. We even like to carry a small compact of setting powder around with us just for touch-ups should we need them.
Nab a Smudge-Proof Mascara

Even if you’re curling your lashes to keep them off of your lenses, it’s always worth it, in our opinion, to opt for a smudge-proof mascara just in case. This way, if your lashes do tend to rub against your lenses, you won’t leave any residue.
Blushing Good Time
Have you ever put blush on just to have it disappear not long after you spent the time on it? You aren’t alone, this is a super common problem among people that wear glasses that often graze their cheeks. No worries though, you just have to apply your blush differently, try applying it to the apple of your cheeks, then blend it back toward your ear and down your jaw.
Get That Good-Good Concealer
You’ll want to invest in a good concealer that will brighten your under eyes, especially if you have dark frames because they tend to make dark circles appear even darker. And we don’t know about you, but our dark circles don’t need any help.
Shimmer Up

If you ever feel like your eyes are disappearing behind your glasses, try using eyeshadow with some shimmer to it to draw light to your eyes.
