Taking the strands off your corn cob
Corn kernels are great on their own to make a salad. But there is nothing better than to grill corn cobs for a few minutes with some butter and salt. The problem is eating corn straight from the cob while constantly having to pluck out silk strands from your teeth. Here is a hack to take them all out quickly.
Once you have finished peeling your corn cobs, take an old toothbrush and brush away any strands of silk that may still be on the corn or in between the kernels. Now, you can cook them in any way you like. And when you get to eat those sweet corn cobs, you will not have to worry about the silk strands anymore.
