Old magazines can be recycled
Nowadays, recycling has become increasingly important as a way to reduce waste. If you have recently found a ton of useless old magazines in your house, do not throw them out. Instead, repurpose them into colorful coasters. Start by tearing out six magazine pages, then cut each page in half lengthwise and fold it to create a long, thick strip.
Interlock two strips to form a corner and braid the rest to create a woven pattern. Once you have done enough to get a six-by-six square, glue the ends inside or underneath so they are hidden. Cover them in transparent contact paper so they do not fall apart after several uses.
