Why do shoes have loops on the back?
Previously, we have mentioned the purpose of those extra holes in your sneakers, but what about the loops in your military-style footwear? You may have noticed loops at the top and back of your boots if you own a pair. Now, you may already know that manufacturers do not put things in their products just for the sake of it.
The back loop’s main purpose is to make it easier to slip into a shoe. Your foot will easily slide into the shoe by pushing on the loop with your finger. They may also be used as reflective panels for safety during a night run and you can also use them to hang your boots. You can also use the loop to give the laces stronger support.
