Toilet cleaner can dry out your grout and ruin it
Having small tiles in your bathroom can look very stylish, but cleaning all that grout can turn into a problem. It is easy for dirt to accumulate in between and make what was originally a pristine white edge look grey and yucky. There are plenty of tricks you can try to clean those small spaces, but whatever you do, avoid using toilet bowl cleaner.
This is because toilet cleaners are pretty acidic, and some even come with added bleach. They may work great to get rid of bacteria living in your porcelain bowl, but they can be very harmful to grout. The chemicals can dry out the glue keeping your tiles together, and then you will be left with crumbling pieces of it everywhere.
