It’s as easy as positioning your stencil over your lampshade, securing it with painter’s tape, and painting it with the colors that best match your room.

In this case, they went with different shades of green and blue paint and added some gold detailing around the edges. As you can see, they also got creative with their lamp’s base: they used a repurposed glass jar and filled it with white starfish and shells to add to the marine pattern on top.
