Fold your clothes as Marie Kondo would
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you’ll know who Marie Kondo is. She’s a Japanese organizing consultant that became famous for decluttering items and getting rid of anything that doesn’t “spark joy.” Why are we mentioning her here? Well, Marie has a fantastic method for folding clothes that’ll surely help you save up space in your suitcase.
In her Netflix series Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, Marie says that you should lay your shirt out flat, fold the bottom up slightly, fold it in half, and roll it. But the process doesn’t end up there; you have to keep on folding until your shirt forms a neat, little package that can stand upright. If the explanation isn’t enough, you can look for a YouTube video tutorial.
