60’s energy
We don’t have to stop liking something just because it’s out of style. The 1960s, as well as the 1970s, were highly productive decades. It is fair to say that their favorite color scheme was brown. The hue of choice was whatever variety of brown they could conceive of. When this designer purchased a large, brown, Greek-patterned area rug trimmed with a black border, he got a 60’s steam.
A mahogany leather bar stool, office chair, and accent chair are the main characters of this space. Finding a desk to match this decor appears to be difficult, so the designer chose a chrome mirror desk that reflects the room’s decor. This office environment really gives us retro vibes, thanks to the combination of great neutral-colored striped curtains and a spray-painted black gate along the wall.
