How to create a vintage home office
Vintage is gaining in popularity. We all love flea markets. But what we love the most are their prices. Sometimes, we can turn an old dresser into a beautiful desk with some cleaning, painting, and creativity. A famous Manhattan designer bought an old apartment and remodeled it with vintage furniture, new curtains, and a white photograph. Additionally, he transformed an office space by adding an old desk and an armchair that he had reupholstered.
We could even add some colorful cushions, a retro lamp, and a light-color carpet. In this case, the designer had the fantastic idea to use a modern-century wooden dresser as a filing cabinet. If we’re talking about a building from the 1940s, there’s no better way to pay tribute to its architecture than by implementing vintage furniture and being a little more ecological at the same time. We’ll be killing two birds with one trendy stone.
