We have finally graduated from overplucking our eyebrows, wearing only metallic eyeshadow, and applying foundation to our lips; in fact, we’re at that stage of life where we’re relying solely on hacks to save us time and money, while still wanting to look ~glam~. So we put together some of our best lazy girl makeup hacks! Let’s get into it.
When applying foundation, if you’re going for an all-over smooth and naturally glowing look (and who isn’t?) try mixing one single drop of facial oil into your foundation before you apply. You’ll immediately notice a difference and (probably) never go back!

Brows can be tricky, but with a disposable spoolie and some hairspray, troublesome brows are a thing of the past. Just spray your spoolie with your hairspray and groom your brows.
If you aren’t into the lash extensions or falsies, but still long for full lashes, try applying a layer of translucent powder after your first coat of mascara, then go in with one more coat after you’ve used the powder. You’ll notice that your lashes are looking thick and voluminous.
Sometimes we’re in the mood for a glossy lip and other times we prefer matte; for those times we’re feeling more matte, but the color we’re wanting to wear is a gloss, just add a thin layer of translucent powder to your lips after applying your gloss, and bam, you got a matte lip.
Finding a good highlighter can be tricky, if you’re struggling to find one for yourself, we recommend checking out various eyeshadow shades! Eyeshadows tend to come in a wider range of colors and shimmer-level, practically guaranteeing you’ll find one.

If last night was a little rough for whatever reason, and your eyes are showing it, line the inner rim of your eyelash line with a neutral-colored pencil. You can thank us later.
Have you ever woken up to puffy eyes? We certainly have. If this has ever happened to you, we recommend keeping your eye cream in the fridge, then simply massage your eye cream on before putting your makeup on.
As we’ve seen, lip lining is a whole thing right now and the girls that get it, get it. But some of us don’t. If you’re not super fond of lip liner or just haven’t been brave enough to try it, we recommend a concealer pen around the lips; not only does it provide you with a good drawing line but it will prevent your lip color from smearing or bleeding.
A full face of foundation? Nobody has time for that. Instead, just apply concealer where you need it. This takes way less time and you’re left with flawless skin.
