Make your breath smell minty fresh
The most apparent use for breath fresheners is maintaining oral hygiene. There is a reason dentists recommend you use it every day after brushing your teeth. Rinsing your mouth kills bacterial plaque, which can cause gingivitis, bad breath, and even caries. Bad breath is a widespread ailment, especially after eating certain foods. In these cases, a minty gargle may be what you need.

Even if plaque is not an issue, you could still use this hack. Maybe you had a heavy meal and found the lingering taste unpleasant. Try rinsing out or gargling with some mouth rinse. It will eliminate any stubborn smells or flavors left behind by the food. That is what it was invented for, after all!
