Piercings can be excellent accessories, although they take a while to heal. Usually, any time you get your ear pierced, you are instructed to buy a cleaning solution to keep the piercing from getting infected. But what if the solution you need is too expensive, or if you run out of it before your piercing is healed? It is time for this bathroom staple to come to the rescue again!

Make sure your brand new accessory does not get infected. Put some mouthwash on a cotton swab and gently dab it over the piercing at least once per day. It will sanitize the area and keep your brand new piercing infection-free. This way, it will heal like it is supposed to.
