Clean your cast iron utensils
When cleaning cast-iron pots and pans, it is essential not to scrape off the non-stick top coating. You would not like to damage the seasoning you worked so hard to achieve! This is why using harsh, abrasive cleaners might not be the best idea. Why not try using some mouth rinse instead? It is less likely to cause damage, and it is readily available in most households.
Test this out if you ever put your cast iron pans through an extra greasy cooking session. Rub some sea salt with some breath-freshening liquid onto the pot or pan, and scrub it in until it is clean. Then, rinse it off. You will now have a clean pan. The best part? The non-stick coating or seasoning will be undamaged!
