Our Favorite Dill Pickle Recipes

January 1, 2025 by Shelley Thompson

Are you crazy about pickles? Because we can certainly never visit a restaurant without ordering fried pickles, and we’re definitely the ones that go around and ask everyone if they want their pickles because if not, we’ll sure take them, and do we drink pickle juice right out of the jar? In a word, yes. So if you love pickles like we love pickles, then you’ll be all about these recipes. Let’s take a look!

Air Fried Dill Pickle Chicken

If you aren’t sure what to whip up of an evening for dinner, may we suggest crispy dill pickle chicken? It’s light, crispy, and ready in under 30 minutes. We also love the added bonus of the fact it’s baked in the air fryer making it just a smidge healthier. We love to serve these up with a side of mashed potatoes for a funky spin on an old classic. Get the full recipe here!

Roasted Dill Pickle Potato Wedges

Potato wedges are where it’s at and these have an unexpected tang of dill pickle that will keep everyone coming back for more. Our best advice? Add some red pepper chili flakes for a kick and then dip these in ranch. (Sorry, is our mid-west showing?) This is the ultimate BBQ-sidedish, but you should be warned, you’ll be digging this recipe out year-round. Get the full recipe here!

Dill Pickle Hummus

Yeah, we’re going there. To us, dill is both tangy and refreshing making it the perfect flavor for hummus. We love this as a dip for our veggies, as a spread on some hot, fresh crostini, or by the spoonful. (We aren’t here to judge!) Get the full recipe here!

“Fried” Pickle Dip

You won’t convince us that there is anything better than hot, fresh, fried pickles, but sometimes we don’t feel like making them, and going out somewhere to order them requires us to put pants on, so you can count us right out of that, but we can whip up this delightful pickle dip that will satisfy anyone’s fried pickle craving. The best part? We’re willing to bet you have all of the ingredients you need and it only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. Serve this dip up with an assortment of your favorite crackers and/or chips. Get the full recipe here!

Dill Pickle Flavored Salt

Okay, even the most hardcore pickle lovers probably don’t want to add pickle salt to everything they eat, but this dill pickle salt makes it easy to add a little pickle pizazz when the time is right. Get the full recipe here!
