Put Masking Tape in Microwave
If you want to paint perfect lines like professionals, you need tape in your paint kit. The tape has a reputation for ensuring perfectly painted lines, especially when painting around sharp corners. Masking tape will give you straight lines and make your work neat and professional. You need to line the edge using the tape before using an angled brush to paint.

Unfortunately, masking tape can dry up and lose its adhesiveness, becoming problematic when you want neat lines. A quick hack is to place your tape in a microwave for about 10 seconds to make it sticky again. Do this before you begin painting, so it’s easier to line the edge using the tape. When removing the masking tape, a quick tip is to pull it off at an angle rather than pulling it straight up or down. This helps ensure that you still get a straight line finish without causing any blemishing or smelling your paint job. You can also use a blow dryer or a small heat gun to remove the masking tape without damaging the surface.
