Scrape Your Rollers to Save Paint
This hack is for you if you love to save and enjoy an effortless cleaning session after your DIY painting project. Once you are done painting, you may be tempted to wash your rollers immediately. However, this big mistake may rob you of a lot of paint. When you are done painting, use a putty knife or a bench scraper to scrape off excess paint from the rollers before washing.

You will be surprised how much paint you collect would have otherwise gone down the drain. Besides, scraping the rollers before rinsing makes cleaning very efficient. This will save you time and effort in the long run. You will also save extra paint that you can use in your next project.
