Trim the Roller
Usually, there is a lot of preparation before a paint job, including cleaning the roller so it does not ruin the finish. Similarly, there is a need for post-maintenance of a paint roller to keep it in the most optimal condition. You can still use the roller for the next paint project and don’t have to get a new one.

One of these maintenance tips is trimming the roller. Often, the edges of the rollers tend to get crusty after painting, which can damage rather than improve your walls. That is why you need to trim the edges to minimize the chances of messing up your finish. You can use scissors for this to carefully remove the pesky edges.
