Pool Must-Haves for the Ultimate Summer Soiree

March 12, 2025 by Shelley Thompson

Don’t get us wrong, we are loving the springtime. The sun is shining, things are getting greener by the day, and we’re finding ourselves outside more and more. With that being said, are we ready to be sipping fruity cocktails poolside? Absolutely! But in the meantime, we can get ready for pool season by nabbing some of these essentials! Okay, ‘essentials’ may not be the right word, but tell us you DON’T need these things by the time you’re done reading this. Let’s get started!

Light It Up

If you have a pool (or have awesome friends) then you know just how great night swims are; take them up a notch with these floating pool lights. There are sixteen different colors to choose from, multiple color-changing modes, and timers so gone is the worry of making sure you’ve turned off the lights after a few fruity beverages. And if you’re the type that likes to entertain, you’ll be excited to know that these lights can be used in a number of ways for all of your summer (or fall or spring) soirees.

Our pick: Chakev Floating Pool Lights from Amazon ($42, shop here)

Four in One Pool Float

Why get a lame pool float that all you can do is actually float on? Sometimes we want to sit and other times we want to glide and we don’t think that’s too much to ask for. With this pool floatie you can lay back, sit up, drift, and even exercise. These aren’t limited to just the pool either, you can pack these floaties for the lake or even the beach.

Our pick: Aqua 4-in-1 Monterey Pool Float and Water Hammock ($17.55, shop here)

A Pool in a Pool

Let’s face it, when it’s hot out and you’re enjoying a pool day, you gotta have some ice-cold beverages. This tiny pool allows you to have cold drinks right at your fingertips along with any snackage you could want! (We recommend fresh fruit!) With a beverage pool, you don’t have to worry about your drinks tipping over or the cooler floating and staying at the edges of your pool, all you have to do is sit back and float.

Our pick: AirMyFun Inflatable Drink Holder Pool ($9.99, shop here)

Turn It Up Some

Another pool day must-have? A Bluetooth speaker. And this one is super cool because not only does it float, but it also changes colors. A few more awesome things about this speaker: it’s splashproof, rainproof, can be used in the shower, lasts for eight hours on a full charge, and with the built-in microphone, you never have to worry about missing a call.
Our pick: Bluetooth Speaker with Lights ($28.99, shop here)
