Everybody loves bacon, but it is important to eat it sparingly since it contains high amounts of salt and fat. However, there is a way of making sure the strips crisp up properly and are not left swimming in a pool of oil. Bacon will never be healthy, but you can make it less greasy with this cooking tip.
Baking usually toasts up your foods better and leaves them with more of a crunch than if you fry them. To bake these strips of cured pork goodness, line a baking tray with foil and place a rack above it. Then, place bacon on top and cook for about 15 at 200° C. The fat will melt and drip onto the sheet.
