Repurpose an empty ketchup bottle to make a batter dispenser
There is a serious design flaw in most pancake recipes, and that is the fact that serving sizes are often massive. If you are not cooking for an entire family, then you are forced to resort to very complicated calculations so you can put together a single serving. This next hack will hopefully eliminate the need to make complex divisions while cooking.
Pancakes are better eaten fresh, so storing the cooked surplus is not the best strategy. Not to mention that they take quite some time to make. The solution is to store the batter, that way, you can mix up an entire batch without modifying the ingredients but still have freshly made cakes whenever you need them.
