Use a sock full of rice as a heating pad
Have you ever arrived home late after a long day of work only to find out that your neck hurts terribly and you don’t know how to deal with it? Neck pain is a common issue for hard workers, especially those who spend the whole day sitting behind a desk in front of a computer. If that’s your case, the following hack will make your life a lot easier (and less painful, of course).

You don’t need to spend a lot of money on a hot-water bottle to treat your neck pain. As long as you have some rice and a sock to spare, you’ll be just fine. Fill the sock up with rice, knot it off at the end, and heat it in the microwave for a minute or so. Then, apply it over the painful area and voilà—you’ll have a quick and simple DIY heating pad that’ll ease all the tension away.
