Keep your boots moisture-free after a rainy day
If you’ve been wearing your boots all day on a rainy day, chances are that some moisture is left on their surface when you get home. Wet shoes are an easy target for mold to inhabit, resulting in foul odors. Also, damp boots can lead to sores or blisters.
Grab a few old newspaper pages to dry your wet footwear and place your boots on top. Additionally, stuffing them with the same material or dryer sheets is recommended. Leave them like this for a minimum of two days to ensure the moisture is absorbed.
