Deodorize your musty-smelling closet
At the end of the winter, we store our linens smelling fresh in the closet. It would be great if they smelled the same when we take them out next year, right? Still, that rarely happens. Our wardrobes can and will make anything odorous if they remain closed for too long. Fortunately, baking soda can help us sort this problem out.
No one wants to be greeted with a lingering, musty smell every time they open their closet. So, put some sodium bicarbonate in an open container and place it inside your wardrobe. This chemical compound should absorb moisture and eliminate any foul smell that could make your linens smell bad after a year of being stored in an enclosed space.
