Put fraying threads back together
After several failed attempts at threading a needle, the string begins to come apart and makes it even harder for you to pass it through the narrow opening. It is challenging enough to see if it is going in properly when it is not frayed. If you want to avoid having to wrangle several different strands, then this advice is for you.

Try spraying it with some hairspray. Then, while it is still wet, press it with your fingers so that the fibers stick back together. Once it is dry, you will have a stiff, strong thread that will not fall apart when you try to pass it through. This hack is sure to make you look like a pro seamstress, and will save you time, too.
