Hold your fresh sliced apple together
It’s common knowledge children prefer to eat their food cut into small pieces. Their mouths just aren’t big enough for adult size dishes. Picture a five-year-old trying to eat a triple stack burger. Seems rather impossible, right? The same could be said about fruit. It should be a central part of their diets, but they’d only eat oranges or apples if they’re thinly sliced.

The thing about sliced apples is they tend to get brown really fast, and the taste isn’t the nicest. However, if you hold your sliced apple together with a rubber band, the fruit will stay fresh and ready to eat whenever you want. Next time you pack your child’s lunch box, why don’t you take this clever hack into account and add a green apple?
