Paint nice patterns on your Easter eggs for a fun afternoon with your kids
What does Jesus’ resurrection have to do with a white bunny? Nobody knows, but it’s safe to say Easter’s a holiday that comes with many traditions. Though its most common ritual is the famous treasure hunt, with young children running around their gardens all excited looking for chocolates, other parents prefer to sit down with them to make calmer Easter egg crafts.
For a fun, original afternoon of entertainment, loosely wrap some rubber bands around your eggs. Later, dip them in colored paint. Once you take out the rubber bands, you’ll be able to see a pattern drawn on your eggs. You can place the bands vertically, horizontally, or a combination of both. The technique’s up to you. This will undoubtedly put a smile on your kids’ faces.
