To keep almonds fresh, roast them and store them in the freezer
When we purchase almonds at the grocery store, it’s important to make sure to roast them as soon as possible, and after that, place them in the freezer. Definitely, roasted almonds taste better than raw ones; they also remain fresh and save us some time.
As we all know, we can use roasted almonds in a variety of recipes, from cakes to salads and everything in between. Bake till golden brown on a sheet pan at 350 degrees. Once they’ve cooled completely, they’ll be ready to store in the fridge or freezer.
