Fresh green beans can be chilled without blanching
This is another not-so-secret kitchen fact that some people may be unaware of. Green beans do not lose their texture or flavor when frozen, like some other vegetables do. As a result, they’re a terrific way to keep the taste of summer on your plate all year.
First, we’ll wash our greens beans in cool water, then, we’ll snap or clip off the stem and pointy ends. Please, make sure they are completely dry before freezing since moisture increases the risk of freezer burn.
