Prevent your car windows from getting frosted before an ice storm
The following salt hack is similar to the previous one. However, this one is aimed at preventing an issue rather than solving it once the damage is done. Now that you’re wise enough to check the weather forecast on your TV or mobile app, you know better than to leave your car outside all night long when an ice storm is approaching.

Still, sometimes the weather is so severe that it’s better to take action just in case. To prevent frost from building up on your car’s windows or any other surface, dissolve table salt in water and scrub using a sponge. Who knew salt had these many uses other than flavoring your meals? Its benefits seem to go on and on.
