Extinguish the fire in your chimney to prevent an accident
Nothing screams winter more than a fireplace. Not only do they look incredibly cozy and inviting, but they also serve to keep you warm during cold nights. Having one in your living room probably makes you want to cuddle with a blanket while you read your favorite book. After some time, it’s normal to be so relaxed you fall asleep.

However, this behavior could be dangerous. If the fire grows too quickly and you’re not awake to extinguish it, an accident could occur. Once you notice the blaze burning stronger and stronger, just throw in loads of salt. This will put out the flame swiftly. Still, it’s suggested not to fall asleep after you start a fire in your fireplace.
