No more crying
We absolutely cannot help crying when cutting onions. This has a scientific explanation: this form of sulfuric acid irritates the nerves around the eyes, causing them to water. If you know someone who doesn’t cry, then that’s one lucky person.
To avoid sobs we have the indispensable hack. If you put the onion in the freezer for fifteen minutes, you will notice that no tear falls down your cheek when you take it out and cut it. It seems that the cold can solve many things.
