Stop fabric from fraying
Because of constant wear and tear, clothes start fraying. When that happens, tiny clumps of fabric and small threads stick out here and there from your shirts and dresses. This unfortunate dilemma inevitably leads to perfectly wearable but unfashionable pieces of clothing turning into rags, or worse, trash. Instead of throwing your clothes away, you can use some nail polish to fix them.
To stop your clothes’ fabric from fraying, use transparent nail polish to seal the ragged edges. Apply a thin layer of clear lacquer along the border you want to fix and allow it to dry completely. If used properly, this convenient technique is highly effective and long-lasting. However, it’ll leave the edge a bit stiff, but it won’t unravel easily.
