Get some relief from the itch of a mosquito bite
No matter how thorough you’re when applying insect repellent, you’ll get bitten by a mosquito anyway. We’re all familiar with the intense itching feeling of a fresh bite and how hard it’s not to scratch. Various products supposedly help with the itching, but very few actually work. Fortunately, nail polish costs you zero and reduces your desire to scratch in a trice.
Since the itching sensation happens when the bite is in contact with air, you need to block the airflow to stop the itch. The best and least visible way to do so is to apply a thin layer of clear nail polish over the bump. You’ll probably need to remove and reapply the lacquer a few times, but this trick will help you stop scratching the bite.
