Repair window screens
Window screens often play a vital role in most homes during the hot weather months. In spring or summer, these screens allow you to prevent insects from flying or crawling into the house without obstructing the view or airflow of the window. However, they can rip and tear quite easily after a few months of use, no matter how careful you are.
A hole in your window screen can only mean that bugs will get in. Fortunately, you don’t need to find a replacement screen right away because you can use clear nail polish for a quick fix. Push the tears back in place and apply a thick coat of transparent lacquer on both sides of the hole. After it dries, the screen will be completely sealed.
