Use the towel test to check for fleas
While summer is an excellent time to take your dog out and spend some time in the sun and have fun at the park, it also brings about a problem that worries all pet owners: fleas. These annoying little insects love the high temperatures and humidity levels of summer to reproduce and infect as many pets as they can.
There’s an easy way to figure out if your pet has been infected by these dreadful insects. The towel test is the best way to determine whether your dog has fleas. Just make your pet lay on a white towel and brush its fur after bathing. If any bug falls from the hair, they will be easily detected in the white cloth.
