Get crafty and make your own DIY inner soles
There are various reasons why your insoles may cause foot discomfort. Maybe they’re not the right arch height. Or they’re too rigid or too flexible. If you notice that your feet are killing you after wearing a new pair of shoes all day, it may be time to create your own inner soles.
The first thing you’ll need to do is purchase a cushioned mat. These are inexpensive and make for excellent base material. After that, you’ll need a template, which can be created by outlining the shape of your feet and cutting it with a knife. Remember to flip one of your templates to get opposite soles.
