Lights out, candles in
Besides being terrifying, because we’ve all seen horror movies when the lights go out, it’s an annoying experience. Once the power went out, I was working on my notebook and unfortunately, my work was not saved automatically. I cried for two hours straight. So, to avoid tears and fear, we have the perfect hack.
Get a container that has good height so a long string can rest on to keep it straight. Pour some oil inside, then cut a foil into the shape of the container and place it there to cover it. The thread will slowly soak up the oil. Finally, simply light the string and you will have a totally homemade candle that will last until the light returns.
