Organize your set of keys
Do you have keys on your keychain with bows so similar that you continually confuse one key for another? Not being able to tell your keys apart is a waste of time. It can be particularly frustrating when you’re having an emergency. You could use plastic keycaps to distinguish the most important ones, but they’re bulky and often fit poorly.
A less intrusive way to organize your keys would be to use nail polish to color-code them. All you have to do is paint the bows of each key a different color and apply at least three coats of lacquer. It’s essential to rough up the surface of the metal with sandpaper before you begin painting to keep the polish from chipping.
