Use old jewelry to make an original wind chime
We all know that we should dispose of any items that are broken or have no use, but most of the time, we end up keeping them in hopes that we can someday fix or reuse them for parts. This DIY is perfect for anyone who has a decent stash of damaged or mismatched jewelry that they never built up the nerve to throw out.
Old shell earrings are ideal for this since they make a subtle, dry sound. Take out the clasps and run some fishing line through the holes. Next, tie the pieces into a bamboo ring, ensuring they hit each other when they sway. You can also drill holes into the hoops, but we recommend you tie the string around them.
