Old keys can be repurposed to craft a colorful windchime
If you like windchimes’ sound but are not good at stacking or arranging metal tubes at different heights, this is the craft project for you. It only requires aligning keys one next to the other. Grab some colorful paints, a medium stick, string, and a bunch of old keys to get started.
The first step is to paint the keys. Choose any acrylics that you want; just make sure that they are made to stick to metal. Spruce up the stick as well with some color or glitter. Tie one end of the string to the key’s upper notch and wrap the other end on the wood once, tying it down, so it stays in place. Add a tie to hang it from, and that is it.
