Glue a shallow cut shut
When out in the wilderness, it’s sometimes imperative to make do with what’s available. Therefore, it’s important to always have on hand a first-aid kit to use in case of injuries. A handy item to include in such a kit is a tube of super glue.
Short of an actual suture kit, super glue is the best way of temporarily closing up a cut. Disinfect the wound thoroughly first, then apply a thin layer of super glue and hold both edges of the skin shut until the glue is completely dry.
