Another way to make fire is with a pencil, a car battery, and jumper cables
Knowing how to jumpstart a car is a valuable life skill in and of itself, but it can also serve people well if there is ever a need to make a fire. It turns out that anyone with jumper cables, a car battery, and a graphite pencil can kickstart the combustion process.
Here’s the process: Split the pencil down the middle so that the graphite is exposed. Then, attach the jumper cables to the battery on one end and the pencil on the other. The graphite will conduct the electricity and begin to burn.
