Apple has included MagSafe power adapters with Mac notebooks for many years. However, many people are unaware that the MagSafe adaptor includes two “wings” on either side of the integrated cable. Your MagSafe power adapter’s “wings” or the two plastic hooks on the power supply are there for a reason. You should definitely give them a try.

Apparently, you may wrap the cable around them and secure it with the little clip that runs along the length of the cable if you flip them out.
