Do not let leaky faucets go too long without getting fixed
If you have a faucet that leaks in some part of the house, it would be best to take care of the issue before it becomes worse. It might seem harmless, but even a small amount of water can cause irreparable damage. Some of the many problems leaks can lead to are rust, mold, and mildew.
The little droplets can accumulate and begin seeping through the cracks in between the tiles. If the waterproofing seal on your tub is not airtight, it can also fall through those cracks and eventually cause serious structural issues in your bathroom. The faucet itself can also suffer if it is constantly in contact with water since it can get rusty or leave a layer of hard water residue.
