Feather dusters are not the best tools you can use to clean hard-to-reach spots
Although it might seem like feather dusters are cleaning staples, in reality, they are not very good at actually removing dirt. Sure, it might look like they leave surfaces clean, but in the end, they only shift the dust around. This means the particles will probably go into the air and into your lungs, or onto the floor which will require vacuuming again.
Instead of using a traditional feather duster, you would be better off buying a product made with fibers that grab on to any particles sitting on top of your furniture. There are many options that are even designed to get to those hard-to-reach places such as cabinet tops. The best part is that none of that dust will go into your eyes or lungs.
