Prevent poison ivy from growing in your garden
You may be aware that one of salt’s many superpowers is relieving the symptoms of a poison ivy rash. But did you know that salt can prevent this pesky plant from growing in the first place? It can also kill the ones that have already established themselves in your garden. So, consider this following hack to avoid having serious allergic reactions in the future.

Mix salt and water and load the solution into a spray bottle. Then, begin spraying the areas where you find this allergic plant. If you don’t know what it looks like, take the image above as an example. Given that touching poison ivy can cause swollen skin, blisters, and severe itching, you should eliminate it as soon as possible.
